Troon Santa Dash - November 2011
As part of the Wintertainment Festival in Troon, the Santa Dash is upon us once again and will be a 5km route, as last year, that participants can run jog or walk. The dash will take place on Sunday 20th November (time TBC) with our very own mascot, Laurel the Lion there to entertain the kids and enjoy the festive spirit.
There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and under 16's can participate for free. Bring your kids are dress them up, there will be a prize for kids best festive costume.
Registration fee is £12 per person which includes your own Santa suit. Once registered you will receive an email with all relevant information about the event.
London to Paris Challenge - Summer 2011
Paul-Scott Wiggins & Craig Hunter will test themselves with this challenge travelling London – Paris using bikes , kayaks and running shoes! This challenge is due to take place in the summer of 2011.
Paul-Scott and Craig will start in London and cycle 75 miles to Folkestone, from Folkstone they will both then jump into their kayaks and cross the English Channel heading for Calais, no mean feat. The distance from Calais to Paris is 170 miles, the boys will cycle the first 120 miles and then run the last 50 miles finishing at the centre of Paris under the Eiffel tower.
